What to expect

   Before you subscribe

   • Read the technical requirements. Exact runs in any browser.
   • Ask your bank whether it requires MICR-printed checks. Most no longer do.
   • Choose your check stock. Blank stock works and costs less than pre-printed checks. Then talk to the Exact team about whether to convert your existing data, and sample bank upload files if you plan to use deposit uploads and ACH payments.

   Subscribe

   Complete the subscription steps to set up your account. No payment is due at this time. Exact sends you a welcome email and lets our support staff know.

   We set up your system

   This can take a few days.

   • Your organization gets its own database.
   • We create login credentials for the administrator named in your subscription.
   • We may make some customizations based on your programs and client groups.

   Configure Exact together

   • Log in for the first time with the user ID, temporary password and secret word we send you.
   • Review the Exact Configuration Guide before your configuration call.
   • Our experts walk you through the initial configuration.
   • Your administrator then sets up the rest of your staff and finishes entering clients, bills and activities, using the Staff and Admin User Guides.
